Thank You to Dick & Margaret

Chawton Park Indoor Bowls Club was recently packed to say a big thank you to Dick & Margaret Holden as they stepped down from managing the club over the last 10 years.

Family, friends and club members turned out to show their gratitude to them both who have helped develop the club so much in recent years. Dick and Margaret were overwhelmed with the generosity of their retirement gifts which included;

A long weekend break at Potters during the World Bowls Championship.

A Voucher for any Warners location.

His and Hers hampers filled with their favourite food and drinks.

And a lovely sum of money to spend as they wish.

Many words of thanks came from Keith Arrowsmith Oliver, John Kellow, George Roberts, Leo May and Oskar Olejarka.

Catering was provided by Crane Feasts courtesy of Greg and Dexter Olejarka, with entertainment provided by Ukulele band the Alton Stringalongs and singer Marlowe Bramich.

Many thanks to everyone who helped organise the evening and we wish Dick & Margaret all the best for the future.
