Denny Plate & Mason Cup Results

Congratulations to our Denny Plate side winning their Area final with Chawton Park winning the four rink matchup against strong Whiteknights Reading 85-72 (3 rinks to 1). With Chawton Park winning both Home Rinks and sharing the spoils away. Top rink of the day went to the Away Rink of John Blair, Danny Brown, John Kellow and Ashley Nethercliffe 28-18 winners.

Chawton Park are now through to the final stages of this national competition playing Kempston Park (Bedfordshire). the game being played on Saturday 7th February at Watford IBC.

Unfortunately in the Mason Cup our women’s sides lost to Five Rivers. Losing both home and away rinks 23-10 and 18-12 respectively,(41-22) overall. Five Rivers who now go on to contest the area final against the Isle of Wight. This ended what had been a promising campaign to date with wins over Camberley and Handy Cross.
