Results Round Up

Two wins out of Three for Chawton Park over the Weekend. On Saturday the Bramley Team took on Loddon Vale over Four rinks with Chawton Park winning three and losing one. Thus winning overall by 80 shots to 56. Gary C Johnson, Robert Green, Simon Greenwood and Reece Graham 25-9 winners were top rink. Chawton Park take 9 points and Loddon Vale 1.

Sunday Morning saw the second Wessex league match of the season against Banister Park. In a much closer match and thanks to some last end heroics Chawton Park won by 62 shots to 58. Chawton Park take 12 points and Banister 4. Top Rink was the quartet of John Blair, Gary M Johnson, Simon Greenwood and Gary Starks 20-12 winners.

Our Friendly team travelled to Portsmouth on Sunday afternoon to take on Victory. Due to some late withdrawals for the home side the fixture was amended to Four triples and One rink. Special thanks go to Chawton Park member Alex Brady who guested for the opposition on the winning rink. Unfortunately Chawton Park were only able to win one of the triples courtesy of Ann Pascoe, Alan Pascoe and Phil Wood 30-4 winners. Final score was 91-76 in favour of Victory.
