Friendly Result Round Up

Two Fixtures to finalise a very successful friendly season. Yateley OBC were our first visitors in a five rink mixed triple match up. Chawton Park were successful winning four of the five rinks and drawing one and successful overall by 117 shots to 59. Top rink was the trio of George Roberts, Ann Pascoe and Noel Thompson 40-2 winners.

In our final weekend friendly of the season we travelled to Atherley to play a six rink mixed triple game. In a close match where the lead fluctuated throughout Chawton pulled away in the closing ends to secure a 96-84 win. Top rink of the day was Russ Gilbert, Angela Goman-Smith and Howard Carpenter.

Special thanks go to our Weekend Captain Patricia Brooks who has handled a difficult job in her stride despite suffering an injury which prematurely ended her season. Thank you Patricia from us all.
