Chawton Park Indoor Bowls Club was established in 1996 with a Lottery-funded grant from Sport England.

It is a company limited by guarantee and was the first bowls club in Hampshire to have achieved the coveted Clubmark accreditation.

The Club has six full size rinks, an electronic scoreboard, air-conditioned playing area, facilities for disabled bowlers and a fully-licensed bar.

There is tarmac surfaced car park with 56 main spaces, 4 disabled spaces, bicycle racks.

During the main playing season, which runs from September to mid-April, the Club is usually open from 9.30am until late evening every weekday. Inter-club friendly matches are held most Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday afternoons;

On weekdays, there is a mix of internal leagues, club competitions and matches. Organised Roll-ups occur on Wednesday evenings, 7-9pm and Tuesday & Thursday mornings,10am-noon. Click for details Rink Schedule

          Once the Winter leagues are complete in mid-April, there are Roll-ups on Tuesday & Thursday mornings,10am-noon and Wednesday evenings, 7-9pm, Summer leagues are now  Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings each week, there are also in house knock-out competitions and 8 inter club Friendly Matches.

Club members come from towns and villages around the area, including Alton, Alresford, Basingstoke, Petersfield, Haslemere, Liphook, Farnham, Aldershot, Bordon, Grayshott, and as far as Havant.
